College of Europe in Natolin

The College of Europe in Natolin looks at Europe and its complex neighbourhoods, both facing major external and internal challenges of which security comes to the fore yet again.

Our advanced Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies and the new European Security and Strategy study track offers you a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of Europe’s internal and external dimensions and equips you with knowledge and skills necessary to address some of the most pressing contemporary global challenges.

College of Europe - Federal website

The College of Europe, established on the initiative of the Hague Congress, dates back to 1949 and is the oldest postgraduate institute of European studies. After the end of the Cold War, in 1992 the College of Europe in Natolin began its mission to prepare students to think beyond disciplinary boundaries, beyond preconceptions, and to encourage them to build bridges and embrace a wider perspective on Europe.

Natolin Library

The Library of the College of Europe in Natolin was created in April 1993. With one of the largest collections on European issues anywhere in Europe, it principally serves the students and researchers of the College of Europe. It is also available to outside users by appointment.

Natolin Blog

Started in 2015, this student-led blog features posts from the community of the College of Europe in Natolin. It aims to give a flavour of what is happening on our campus and how EU and global affairs are understood by our students, permanent and flying faculty and alumni. WEASA: Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy

WEASA is a yearly educational program for up-and-coming policy analysts, experts, advisers, civil servants, journalists, private sector and NGO professionals from the Eastern Partnership and the Western Balkans. It was founded in 2013 to present the political, social and economic foundations of modern democracies in the European Union and the transatlantic community and further promote the values of freedom, pluralism and peace.

European Transnational Governance Network

The European Transnational Governance Network (ETGN) is a training and development partnership among eight prestigious European academic and research institutions, offering transnational perspectives on governance issues of the 21st century. The ETGN consortium delivers collaborative executive education, providing participants with the opportunity to receive the ETGN certificate.

Natolin4Capacity Building

Natolin4CapacityBuilding is a highly innovative and targeted educational programme implemented by the College of Europe in Natolin and funded by the EU. It was established to support public administration of Ukraine in implementing comprehensive reforms and the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. Around 3,500 Ukrainian civil servants have already registered on the project’s e-learning platform, while up to 50 civil servants from central public administration bodies will take part in special 2-month onsite training programmes at the College of Europe in Natolin.

Natolin European Centre

The Natolin European Centre is a think tank focusing on European integration and Euro-Atlantic security issues. It is also responsible for the upkeep of the historic buildings and nature reserve located on the Natolin Park.
